Spring Has Sprung!

I’m not entirely sure what happened… one minute I’m finalizing the January blog post and the next thing it’s April! It’s definitely very different from last year when March lasted for six years!

Two things have happened at TSB almost simultaneously… first, the amazing new laser has arrived! It is all set up and engraving my newer pieces, like the handwriting cuff. I have official training scheduled for later this week to learn all of what it can do and I am really excited for that! Here’s a video of it running the test print on anodized aluminum.

The second thing that happened was that my other laser, the one that is cutting and engraving all of the wood, leather, and acrylic items has died. I’m currently waiting on a warranty replacement for it so a lot of my plans for new items using those materials have been shelved for the time being. I also had to deactivate all products with them, so you may see a higher number of sold out items as you’re browsing because of that.

And now a random segue…

Mother’s Day is two weeks away! It feels like it falls early this year, but May 9th is the day, so make sure to get your orders in early because shipping carriers are still not back to normal times after the chaotic Christmas we had!

I listed a bunch of new graduation designs, so please check those out. I’m also working on some new bookish pieces as well as sketching out new metalwork designs. I’m thinking a limited collection of one of a kind pieces will probably be released before June.

I’m also getting my second dose of the covid vaccine in early May, so I may be out of it for a few days. I’m hoping to have everything out early that week so that I can veg on the couch.
