I fully admit that I am terrible at social media. I go through spurts where I focus on it and everything is good and then forget it exists? That’s kind of where I am with Instagram right now. I’m not even sure if anyone uses it anymore. And then there’s TikTok which I have ideas for that never really come to fruition. Combine that with the after holidays “I don’t want to do anything” creative drain, and well, it’s the perfect storm of not updating anything. But I am alive, and working.
I swear I start off each of these posts with saying that I can’t believe it’s already ____, but it seriously feels like I blinked and October was over. This will probably be the last post until after the holidays, unless something drastic happens with shipping.
The back to school chaos has been the focus for the last few weeks and I’ve fallen behind on, well, basically everything that didn’t include the making and shipping of a current order. Now that the kids are back in school and (I can usually finish [most of] a thought), I have started to get back into the swing of designing new items, updating the website and updating you on things to come. {I say that but it’s taken me over a week to write this post…}
IIt has been a year. I swear every time I sit down to write a post, something happens that makes a blog post about my small business seem meaningless. I’m always torn with how much I should share about my personal life, but let’s just say everything from death to surgery to covid has come at us this year, and doing anything beyond keeping up with orders has been difficult. Unfortunately blog posting is one of the things that fell through the cracks. Without further ado, here is some long awaited information on site updates, shipping issues, and fundraising.
